Try reinstalling the program and then uninstalling it using spybot's uninstaller.
Try using a several online virus scanners and scanning the location of the trojan and see what crops up.

I doubt it very much. The backup file would probably be quarantined as well. Best wait for one of the team to respond but you wont do any harm by just checking its all gone with another anti-malware...

Also, could you try removing all your temp files using CCleaner. Then visit any website and then close the browser and try spybot once more.
It may be obvious but did you try CCleaner as well?
Did you install spybot to work only on one account? I duon't know if it has that option, but some programmes do.
Do you have a router/firewall that could be blocking internet access for spybot?
