  1. Install error: "Unable to execute..." SDWSCSvc.exe

    Hi,

I've been using Spybot 2.1, and have uninstalled it to upgrade to 2.2. When I install 2.2 and reboot, I see this:

Spybot is great. I'd like to keep the Tea Timer real-time monitor running, too, but it slows my system down too much.

Yes, I'm having the same problem.

I've just reinstalled XP (SP2) and Spybot 1.6.0.30 (with Tea Timer 1.6.3.25). Tea Timer "hangs" when I try to exit XP. I must click a button to end it manually.

How about adding a "Check for updates" command to Tea Timer's context menu?

This occurred to me because AVG, the anti-virus app I use, lets you right-click its system-tray icon and click "Check...
  8. Fixed: Tarma Installer--spyware? No, Tarma installers are not spyware.

    Hi,

Why does Spybot consider Tarma Installer a threat? Softpedia has given Tarma its "100% Clean" award:

Thanks, that's good to know. But how were we supposed to know the X was even a button? I thought it was just an icon---you know, "X, this is blocked."
