I did uninstall Chrome. I ran a malwarebytes scan after the uninstall. All is cle:euro:an right now.

Malarebytes found the same problem on the conduit (Google Chrome). The program look like it was saving my mornings log but it crapped out and left no record. What should I do?

I did as you suggested with the resetting of chrome. I ran a malwarebytes scan a few minutes ago. All appears good.

I use Firefox more often but I do like Chrome. I never use IE except for Windows Update. I updated to the new Firefox almost a week ago.

The new Firefox did NOT work! I got trovi.com start page with a distorted image of Oprah Windfery on it!
So the problem is not fixed and trovi is still attached.

I have the web version of Spybot. TeaTimer does not exist here.
I ran spybot scan several times. I tried the Deep Root scan too and it found nothing.
I just today loaded the Firefox update...
