Hello everyone. I'm on my sister's computer right now, and I'm pretty certain it's infected. I uninstalled the previous anti-virus software on this computer, and I tried to install a new anti-virus...

I scanned with HJT and none of those entries showed up, and I checked the program files folder and the Ascentive folder didn't show up.

Did everything you said, rebooted, and it didn't start up.

Just started up my computer, and msmsgs.exe loaded up in the background again...

I actually could not run the scan online, it wouldn't let me since I have Kaspersky installed on my computer already, but I'm not able to scan since it's outdated.

Just did quite a few searches on google after doing everything you said, and not once was it redirected.
