Hi, I tried to install one of the antiviral s/w from the list of links you gave me and once it was finished scanning my cpu it asked me to register/purchase the program to remove the infected...

by the way, i didn't find cyber defender in add/remove programs but a folder with the location C:\QooBox\Quarantine\C\Program Files came up on a search of my computer. Should I delete this file?
