I made a backup of the SDUpdate.exe and replaced it with the one you have posted and everything works like it should.
Recopied the original SDUpdate.exe and the message returned.

@drragostea: I do not not use nor have Lavasoft's Adaware.
@PepiMK: I have tested with UAC enabled and disabled and either way the message appears.
Only running in compatibility mode (XP SP2)...
With compatibilty mode setting (XP SP2) Spybot updated normally and does not give the warning message "Please select some update files from the list first.".
I shut off compatibility mode and...
I can confirm that setting spybot to run in compatibilty mode (XP SP2) that the message no longer appears on Vista x64.
I will also report back when updates are available and see what happens.

I have installed Spybot version 1.6.2 and set in the settings for when the program starts it check for new updates and immunize if there are any updates installed. The previous version would check...
Updater still does this in 1.5.1.14 RC1.
Is there any way to manually disable the floppy disk check?
1.5.1.14 RC1 the immunization process seems to be faster. (to me at least :) ).
But what reason would the updater need to access the floppy? :scratch:
I am using 1.5.1.13 it also happened in 1.5.1.12.
Every time I start Spybot or the updater they try to access the floppy drive. Is this intended? This happens on 2 diferent PC's one is running XP...
