If that is directed at me, if you read my post you will see that I am still getting the error.
I had the 'System Settings Protection has encountered a problem and needs to close' error message for the first time two days ago, not yesterday, when everything ran as normal, and again today.

Firstly I never use OE or IE.
Firefox cache etc. is cleared every day on shut down.
I regularly run CCleaner and also Easy Cleaner for uneccessary files.
I ran Disk Cleanup just now Temp....

Mine takes about 2 hours which I don't consider particularly fast. Is that normal?

I do like Spybot, but I don't run it as often as I should because it takes so long and slows everything else down.

I downloaded Spybot 1.5.2.20 a few weeks ago and every time I have run S&D since then there are no problems found. Not so much as a cookie.
