Still not understanding Yodama's remarks, I've just added the two entries to the 'ignore single entries'.
Yodama:
Sorry I don't know if it's a matter of English or how I'm expressing myself. Please indicate your recommendation: (a) or (b) please. I just surf the net, I don't do anything special or...
Yodama:
Microsoft.Windows.IEFirewallBypass: Settings (Registry value, nothing done)...
Excuse my slowness, but does this mean we should remove the two entries ticked by the Search & Destroy, or is it a false positive to be corrected in the next update?
Excellent addition: well done the Spybot team
Hi. I don't quite understand why net-integration.net is blocked just because it possibly has an unhappy business relationship with Safer Networking. I thought restricted sites placement in IE was...
Thanks. I'll direct my further comments there.
In my Spybot scan today, net-integration.net was flagged in the results as a bookmark naughty in IE. Is this really so? The site passes both LinkScanner Pro's and Site Advisor's testing.
Sorry, Buster, the penny has dropped now  I looked up my popup blocker settings. Something had added dns-lookup to the permitted settings, also netsearchsoft: even I had heard of the latter...
So are you saying Swizzor is on my machine, despite Avast and BoClean reporting nothing? I am somewhat confused otherwise.
I didn't know Spybot updated other than on a Friday: was it a 'special'? Anyways I have now updated for Wednesday's update, re-scanned and guess what? ;) Yes, I'm afraid so: Swizzor is still there in...
Spybot 'detected' swizzor on my machine. As my machine is clean and neither Avast nor BoClean have alerted me to any malware, I assume the following are false positives:
Swizzor: Settings...
I uninstalled and reinstalled a fresh program 1.4 downloaded from the site, leaving the residents SD Helper and Tea Timer unchecked. Old habits die hard, I've been doing weekly Spybot scans for...
Thanks for that. It seems safer to uncheck SDHelper or remove Spybot altogether, until the Spybot team fix the problem. Unfortunately fixes for Spybot problems do not always arrive that fast.
Lately my IE7 has crashed occasionally when I close a few tabs in the one action. The normal IE7 tab closure warning pops up, then followed by the 'Windows has detected an error and needs to close...
I don't use the Teatimer facility, just the scanner as a backup, once a week; which itself is an excellent program. Incidentally, I found the speed of the scanning noticably faster after the 1.5 beta...
I have installed the scanning engine improvement but preferred to skip the Teatimer. However on checking the 'About' info, it stills states 1.4 there not 1.5 beta. Is that ok?
Any further information yet please Admin?
