Yes but the problem is, that it doesn't do it. It always reports that all the files are up to date (even when they are not), unless I delete the "updates.uid" file.

Yeah, that's the issue we're having, "check status" is not working, so the only way to figure out if it updated is to check the log or scroll the update list or delete the file I mentioned above.
So yeah after deleting the "updates.uid" from the updates folder, check status works.
Hope this gets fixed soon.

So I installed Spybot 2 five days ago, and immediately started an update, it found 7 files that needed updating, and updated them with no problems. Fast forward to next Wednesday, I start the update...
