The last time I really looked at the number of obects scanned was when I was using 1.5 which was right around last week and then I could have sworn it was around 160-170,000...

Tonight when I finished running my scan with V1.6.0 I noticed the scan had checked 267,743 objects.

I never look that closely but I am sure it was still in the 160,000 - 170,000 range...
