Yes I did receive that update but no others so wasn't sure if there were anymore or not.

I see alot of people having problems when upgrading or updating from 1.4 to 1.5.

I think it would be a good idea if the spybot team could either make the upgrade - update uninstall the older...

Sounds good to me. I was just wondering if I was missing updates and not knowing due to the problem. I don't have an outbound firewall. Just use the one in my router.

Are you useing a paid version of TM or doing the online scan?

I read somewhere that the online scanner and I would assume the paid version falsely identify spybots immun list as adware memwatcher...

Yes I do also but your average user doesn't have a clue! They know how to use their programs they use all the time but to get them to do anything as simple as copying files sometimes is a task.

BTW the 2 icons are one to start the program and for some reason the updater puts the installation file on the desktop.

I see alot of people having problems when upgrading. I think it's a better idea if the spybot team could either make the upgrade uninstall the older version first or promp people to uninstall first....

See if you can boot into safe mode and remove the other entry. Than you can download the new file and install instead of upgrading.

Have you tried booting into safe mode and then removing the other entry for spybot?

To get into safe mode tap the F8 key while the computer is starting.

Is it ok to run sdhelper and boclean at the same time or should I use only one or the other?

I did that and now the popup doesn't even come up and mail works fine. I would have thought that I would still get the popup and then have a choice.

I always get ad.yeildmanager.com and the only button that works is deny.
