I need help removing some Malware. My virus scan software detects it but does not remove it.

The malware is:

Java.Trojan.Exploit.Byterify.1
Trojan-Downloader:Java/Agent.DIVS...

I had to delete the winfixer line from the registry in order to keep it from showing up every time I ran a HJT.

I followed your instructions but the winfixer installer is still there. In fact, I used HJT to 'fix' it and ran an scan immediately and it was still there.

I did install the new version of Java.
