i run update and when i immunize it never changes the count ?

ran update , then when i went ti immunize there wasnt any to do, the number when you click was zero

You have to activate it manually.
Enter your "Start" Windows panel on the lower left, choose "run" and enter the following command line parameter to activate it:
"C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search...

is missing or was it ever there?

if i download a file and right click theres not option to scan it 1st with spybot

i mainly use ff3 and as to mcafee i dont see where it does have a firewall
before this new version it was a second or so not this long

yes it did imunize but should it take 4 mins to do that?

mcafee system suit and malearebytes

it halfway immunizes fast then drags on finally finishes
last week did same with za free and avg redid comp as the new ms...

i didnt have any browsers open and today was the day i did it:)

firefox3 ie7

it finally did work after 4 mins roughly

i know its free but

i uninstalled no good still not immunize, un checked all same rechecked same no go

look at the post syntec made and these words " download the file a"
they are blue click on that and a file will download, save to desktop, then unzip, to the updates folder in...

what he means is did you notice the higlited words?

thats the link to the file to download to desktop, unzip to the updates folder on spybot, the rerun spybots update

ran today after new update
let spybot search and destroy clean it and the re ran
came back???

i riped every shred of spybot out regestry is spotless, reinstalled and its running 10 mins :laugh:

must been a courupted file

im not a authority mine was so slow after new update did you let it run?

theres nothing running that i can asscern thats not supposed to:sad:

i stoped it at 45 mins:(:sick:

ok i ran it in safe mode took 10 mins

but up untill this newest update took less than 5 to run

ill try that

i installed todays update 01/05/07
and its taking forever to scan.
so far 10 mins vet little change.
i uninstalled and reinstalled no difference
