Some of the files on download.spybot.info are password-protected, but there's no mention of what the password is. For example, under Command-Line-Utilities, snlProc-0.1.0.2.zip (but not snlProc-0.1.0.1.zip).
What's the password and/or where is it listed?
It seems that when you apply Spybot’s immunization definitions, it will actually remove several items from the HOSTS file (and likely other locations as well).
I suspect that this is due to some sort false-positive white-list, but even then, it should only avoid adding those items to the list...
I just performed an update to SpybotSnD and noticed that in addition to adding a bunch of items to my HOSTS file, it actually removed the following items:
andromedical.com
mp3musicdirect.com
okulta.com
websearch.com
