How to prevent a Spybot NEWS popup after Windows launch ?

Even a freshly installed latest version of Spybot S & D does not accept ticks in the boxes for the detected items; and since none are selected, FIX is 'disabled'. How to remedy ?

After I do a Spybot scan, the MRUs disappear from RUN dialogue box. I saw a number of references to 'recent files' in the tickable options. WHICH one of those (or other option) should I untick to preserve the memory of MRUs in the RUN dialogue box ?

There are times when Spybot does a Registry backup - I expect that it would be more expert at it than myself, and I may want to use it. Where is this backup stored; where are the instruction for restoring it ?
