1.5 takes 35+ seconds just to open
Why is it so much slower to open? This is not on just one computer... I have installed it on 6 so far, and all experience the exact same problem... 35+ seconds from clicking on the icon on the toolbar until it starts to open. [Answered] RCI - Updater window
Two small (intended to be constructive) complaints about the new Update' window: 1. Why did you separate it to a separate window? I prefer it to just display the details inside the frame the way it used to. Twice, in the just the first few minutes of using it, the Update' window got hidden...- tanstaafl

RC1 - why old updates?
Hi, First, many thanks for Spybot S&D! I'm just curious... after installing the new RC1 of 1.5, why does it tell me there are updates available as far back as 2005? In fact, why not include *all* updates up to the point in time of the release with the Installer?- tanstaafl
