If you want lots of Win10 net functionality, app store, synch, etc. This program might not be for you? As those things are intertwined with "telemetry". At the least, you should probably not use either of the "Telemetry Hosts" settings.

It shouldn't even be running, except when you actually use it? It doesn't do anything in real time, it just changes settings and adds entries to the hosts file.

Not in my opinion. You should still avoid the Windows 7 & 8.1 snooping updates if you value your privacy. MS has repackaged these a couple times now. There is no reason to think they won't do it again, maybe even including a workaround for these countermeasures? In windows 10 I understand they...

I concur, there is no need for an installer for this program. Is there any info on what is new in 1.5? Also, some clarity that this is also for windows 7 and 8.1 is probably in order as it seems even your own "team member" is unaware. :thanks:

I have been using spybot for years, thank you for a fine program. Recently I started using snoopfree (snoopfree.com) I just noticed that it blocks an "illegal screen access" by SpybotSD.exe when spybot is started. Why does spybot try to read the screen? Thank You
