    Default SideStep.lnk and hgdda.dll

I was able to delete SideStep.lnk, but I can't find hgdda.dll in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\. I know hgdda.dll does exist because when I use the full path C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\hgdda.dll I am prompted to open the file, but there is no way to delete the file when the file is open. Any suggestions? Thanks a million!

    Default I rebooted and...

...same deal with hgdda.dll. But, WinFixer doesn't come up anymore even after several reboots. Winfixer used to come up after reboot almost every time. Am I out of the woods? It appears so. I will just keep an eye out for WinFixer and will let you know if it comes up (fingers crossed that it doesn't). Now that I think I have Winfixer licked should an upgrade of McAfee help me avoid WinFixer moving forward. How to I avoid WinFixer in the future...I don't want to go thru this again. :-)

THANK YOU for your help!!!! I would have been screwed without you guys! Thank you!!!!!

Yes please do upgrade mcaffee if you intend to keep it

Any idea where you picked that up at ?
Install any new software that might have brought it in ?
    Do this please
Download zipit.zip to your desktop, extract/unzip the files inside
open the folder and run zipit.bat, fallow the instructions.

Default No idea where I got Winfixer...

I don't recall any downloads or sites visited that could possibly have done this. I wish I did. What does zipit.zip do???
