    Question How to Regester a dll in standard user mode

    I have made a dll and i want to redister this dll in standard user mode rather that administrator mode is any one know any code In Vb or any other coding language to regestor dll in standard user mode. If any one know please mail me at below adress:

    Will regsvr32 not register it in user mode?

    Depends on how you define "user mode". From a technical side, it won't be done on the "user side". From a permissions side, it depends... on 2000/XP, it'll register only if the user is an admin... on Vista, even admin users need to raise rights to admin mode to be able to do that.

    And that's good that way, otherwise malware hooking into IE could come in through any limited user account

    Well... by taking a good look at the registry on how registration is done, you may or may not find something, but because of the above security reasons, I won't tell
