    Fix these items with hijackthis
    R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
    F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe
    O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {2CDE1A7D-A478-4291-BF31-E1B4C16F92EB} - (no file)

    Not sure what this means. How do I fix these things using hijackthis?

    Also, my inernet conncection still does not work. I have checked all my settings, reset the cable modem, prayed to the computer gods. Any other ideas?

    Hi Cowboy
    Start Hijackthis and place a check next to these items If there.
    Close all browser windows and shut down all other programs that show in the taskbar.(even Folders)
    R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
    F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe
    O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {2CDE1A7D-A478-4291-BF31-E1B4C16F92EB} - (no file)

    ====================================
    Hit fix checked and close Hijackthis.

    Try reinstalling your connection service software for the connection problems
