Yeah, that link takes me to "System Mechanic Safetynet" which is supposed to list the actions that it has processed so that they can be selected and undone but it's saying there's nothing to display!! Guess i'll just have to give up! Thanks anyway guys.

i think that makin backups is on by default, so there should be a backup unless you told it to not make them
