Default Command Service Problem after updates

i am still having a command service problem. i sent an e-mail to you on this before figuring out how to post a thread, sorry about that...

i have the 12-19 updates downloaded. each time i run spybot i get the command service threat. each time i re-boot i get the command service and the pipas threat. i try to fix these, but the command service will not go away and i get a message to re-boot. i do so, and command service and pipas re-appear...

it is also taking 5-6 times longer for spybot to run than before the command service threat ever appeared.

i have been working through some infection problems with the comcast security forum under the title "command service problem, infection" and things are much better...

    http://forums.comcast.net/thread.jsp...51597&tstart=0

any help you can provide would be great.

below is my last results log from spybot:

    Hi

    Run blacklite
click > scan then > next,
If any items show have blacklite rename them except for wbemtest.exe"
Do not rename "wbemtest.exe" its a windows file
The tool will ask if you want to reboot (restart) choose yes.
After you have rebooted post a new hijackthis log.

Thanks - i ran blacklight, and there were 3 items. i renamed 2 items, and did not rename the other one as it was the one you had indicated to leave alone.

i have rebooted, and here is my hjt log. i have not run any other programs at this point.

    Great

    For cleanup
Please download FixWareout from one of these sites:
    http://downloads.subratam.org/Fixwareout.exe
    http://swandog46.geekstogo.com/Fixwareout.exe
Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, then make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish. The fix will begin; follow the prompts. You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so. Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.
When your system reboots, follow the prompts. Afterwards, HijackThis will launch. Please click Scan, and check the following items(if there):

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [dmtbh.exe] C:\WINNT\system32\dmtbh.exe
thats a randomly named file and will probaly be differant
    ===========================================================
Click Fix Checked. Close HijackThis, and click OK to proceed.
Finally, please post the contents of report.txt (it should open), along with a new HijackThis log.

    Thats Great

    Prevention:
Put in place a good hosts file
    http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm
How To Download and Extract the HOSTS file:
    http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts2.htm
    Replace it about once monthly
    How did that go ?
To help avoid reinfection see "So how did I get infected in the first place?"

Let us know in a few days if all is still ok
