Take a look at the following:

Getting an answer is one thing, learning is another.
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition running on a 2.40GHz IntelŪ PentiumŪ 4 Processor with 512 MB of RAM and a 533 MHz System Bus.
As an alternate you could use "Cleanup" by Steven Gould. I have been using this and am happy with it. Visit, download, pass the word around, and support.

Another option would be CCleaner, which gives you the option to run automatically at startup.
NOTE: Do not use the Issues section, unless you are comfortable with Windows registry.

FYI /// I used this program and it came up with around 7 gig of stuff off my machine in the demo mode. I then ran it OUT of demo mode and it deleted 4 gig of stuff. I thought by deleting stuff from my IE options it was doing this. Guess not
I agree with reno250, CCleaner is a good choice
Greetz, Red.
Yeah ccleaner is a good one to go for

I would also reccomend CCleaner. it's small, fast and cleans crap from loads of programs. If you're not to confident with computers leave all of the advanced section unchecked.
