Help with a virus please.
My dumb idiot of a sister contracted a computer virus via MSN messenger. Managed to clear the bulk of it using Spybot and Spyware Doctor. However, a file titled 'Install' keeps appearing on my desktop. I've scanned again and again using both programs, but to no avail. And for some reason, I can't scan it using hijackthis as it automatically boots me out of the program, and makes everything on the desktop disappear for awhile. Any help for this virus dummy would be great. Thanks.
Update: There's a folder titled Ipwindows in my Program Files and I can't remove it whatever I do. Is this a virus? And how can I get ahead to remove it? Thanks.
I can suggest is to consider posting in the Malware Removal forum and having someone take a look at your system.
