    Default Bho 7e853d72-626a-48ec-a868-ba8d5e23e045 ??

BHO Demon found the unidentified BHO listed above - not sure it that's the problem. Ad-Aware and S&D haven't been able to update - as if they're being blocked. I haven't been able to print PDFs or webpages and things feel sluggish.

I had difficulty running any online scans but finally got Trend Micro Housecall 6.5 to run somewhat - it is sitting on Step2(Scanning local computer and connected components) and the progress bar at the bottom says Idle. It had said it removed one thing (didn't write it down - sorry - possibly a worm), but I never saw an option to save the logfile and it's not going to Step3(Listing and removing detected infections and vulnerabilities).

I booted into Safe mode and ran S&D until clean (two times) and the HJT log follows. Please help.

    TIA!!!

Welcome to the forum, if you still need help I will see what I can do. I will start you with some information:

The item BHODeamon is identifying appears to be a dead line:
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file) and it appears it was a valid BHO:
Windows Live Call HoverToCall class {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} L BHO htc.8.1.0178.00.dll Windows Live Messenger

Not being sure about BHODeamon at all, if it is even viable without updates, which is something you will have to decide.
I want to suggest that TeaTimer and SpywareGuard are performing the same function.
I personally run SpywardGuard along with SpywareBlaster. I also run Spybot S&D but I disable TT and suggest you do the same.
    http://russelltexas.com/malware/teatimer.htm

You do have a nasty piece of adware called Netster running from activeX that can be remove with HJT:
    O16 - DPF: {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71} - http://XXX.188.7.150/1689cee0720f67a...zip/RdxIE2.cab

Not being familiar with BHODeamon, this information is online:
    http://www.definitivesolutions.com/bhodemon.htm
Does this program have to be updated to stay effective, here is the CastleCops: http://www.castlecops.com/startuplist-5162.html

    TeaTimer
    http://www.voiceofthepublic.com/SSD/...timer.swf.html

    SpywareGuard
    http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareguard.html

Follow up on those instructions and suggestions and if you still have issues at that point, post a new HJT log and do your best to describe them.
I would not be two concerned that TrendMicro would not run, all online scans are not going to run on all computers. Here are some other good ideas to look at:

    Thanks
