Unhappy programs won't start after virus attack

I was stupid enough to run a file called crack.exe and suffered fifteen minutes of various attacks. My Symantec anti-virus program together with spybot saved me.

But now the programs that where open during the attack won't start (including Quicktime and Picasa2)... They open for a split second and then close. Could it be TeaTimer killing them? They are not in my black (or white) list and it happens even when teatimer isn't running. What can I do? Am I doomed to format and reinstall? Everything else works perfectly...

    I need help

    Default "Egen oppstart"

The .vbs script is my own creation and just let me choose to start the stuff in my system tray. Nothing dangerous there..

    Hello.
As you have a topic in malware removal, please stay with that thread.

Also try not to add to the post count there: http://forums.spybot.info/showthread...=5965#post5965

Malware Forum Helpers usually search for zero posts when looking for members to assist.

If you have waited three days for advice post here.

    Thank you.
