    Default what is: "running botcheck..."

Just wondering, when I do a scan and on the bottom it says:

"Running Bot check - (Zlob or something else)"

Are these things that Spybot is looking for? Or are they files on my computer?

Reason I ask is that some of them have questionable names like "trojan" and whatnot, but others seem to be OK things.

Other scanners list what files it is scanning at the moment, I take it Spybot does the opposite? As in it searches for virus' en each file?

    Thanks for any help!

    Hi there.

Spybot-S&D's Bot check is showing the bad items it is searching for, it does not mean those items have infected the computer.

    No worries.

Yes,those are things Spybot is looking for,you don't need to worry about those. If it finds anything,it will show up in the main window, spyware would be red, tracks,(if you scan for those),would be green.

    Hi,there,you snuck up on me,lol. :D
