    Default Error 1402

This has absolutly nothing to do with anything really.... Well except the registry...

When ever I go to install Microsoft Office 2007 or 2003 it comes up with an error pretty much like this...

Its always the same message, just with the reistry key changed, and once I've changed that registry key so that it will allow it (i.e finding the key, changing the permissions to everyone..) and then started installing it all over again it comes up with another message with a different registry key.

I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas if I could do anything about this, apart from just do the boring task over and over and over again until it eventually installs.

(And I thought I'd ask here, since I had such get help with my previous problem =] )

    Hi there.

That error might be a bit difficult to pin it down. Is this is on the Vista Operating System you sought help for?

You might start off here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/838687 and use their search engine within the site.

    Lots to read I'm afraid.
