Welcome to Safer Networking, I wish to be sure you have viewed and understand this information. "BEFORE you POST" (READ this Procedure before Requesting Assistance)
    http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
All advice given is taken at your own risk.

I appreciate it that you want to get the jump on things, but it is better, if you want our help that you follow the above directions. If your issues are not resolved and you still want help, please do this.

    1) See this: http://forums.spybot.info/showpost.p...80&postcount=2
C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_03\ <<< Java is out of date, download the newest version and uninstall all old versions in Add Remove programs.
While you are in AddRemove programs, uninstall Paltalk Messenger if it is there.

    2) You are running two antivirus programs at the same time and this is not a good thing. They conflict with each other and you will be less safe than if you ran one good program and maintained it properly.
    http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT...00031316555206
"Microsoft recommends that you have only one anti-virus program installed on your computer."
    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...120300087.html
    http://www.smartcomputing.com/editor...8s07/38s07.asp

    C:\Program Files\McAfee\McAfee VirusScan\
    C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ash

    3) Please check at the top of Notepad, under the Formet tab and make sure Word Wrap is not checked.

    4) D:\HiJackThis_v2.exe <<< HJT must run from a drive, if D:\ is a drive, thant is fine, if not, move it to C:\ I would also like you to create a folder for HJT to store logs and backups in, like this: C:\HJT\HiJackThis_v2.exe

    5) How to make files and folders visible:
Click Start > Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.
You may reverse this for safety when we are finished.

    6) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
    http://www.atribune.org/content/view/25/2/
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

    7) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/cust...search/ie.html G
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/cust.../www.yahoo.com
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [runner1] C:\WINDOWS\retadpu1000137.exe
(I removed that long number, check and remove the above item)
    O4 - Startup: PalNetaware.lnk = ?
    O4 - Global Startup: PalStart.lnk = C:\Program Files\Paltalk Messenger\palstart.exe
    O9 - Extra button: PalTalk - {4EAFEF58-EEFA-4116-983D-03B49BCBFFFE} - C:\Program Files\Paltalk Messenger\Paltalk.exe
(next two are resource wasters related to Alexa toolbar, if you don't use Alexa, remove them)
    O9 - Extra button: Related - {c95fe080-8f5d-11d2-a20b-00aa003c157a} - C:\WINDOWS\web\related.htm G
    O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Show &Related Links - {c95fe080-8f5d-11d2-a20b-00aa003c157a} - C:\WINDOWS\web\related.htm
    O16 - DPF: {DF780F87-FF2B-4DF8-92D0-73DB16A1543A} (PopCapLoader Object) - http://www.popcap.com/games/popcaploader_v6.cab

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

    8) RIGHT Click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:

    C:\WINDOWS\retadpu1000137.exe <<< delete that file

    C:\Program Files\Paltalk Messenger\ <<< delete that folder

    9) Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
    Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Restart the computer and post a new HJT log.

    Thanks
