Thank you for having this forum.
A couple of days ago I was mindless enough to click a link from a contact on my MSN. It was a virus. It called itself PIC006.JPG-live.messenger.com. I have tried various things to get rid of it, but am afraid I've come at a loss. 3 different scanners have been unable to detect it even after I uninstalled MSN Messenger. AVG Free, SpyBot - Search & Destroy and ClamWin Antivirus. Your TeaTimer finds it from time to time asking if I want to allow it to change in the registry or deny it. First time (before I realised it was a virus) I allowed it to change, but since I have denied it. I dare not check the "Remember my choice" because TeaTimer seems to be the only thing that can find it. And the only way for me to see if it's still on my PC after trying different things. For all I know it could be gone from my PC, but TeaTimer seems to believe it's still there, so I dare not hope it's gone.
Now I have to say that I am a complete noob when it comes to fixing computers and other than running a scan I don't know what else to do. Not even sure if removing a detection in a virus vault is the thing to do.
I am afraid to log in to anything at all because I fear the virus may contain a keylogger.
I will wait for your reply longingly as I miss my WoW *blush*
*Many thanks and kisses*
