    Default Local Mirror Possible?

    Hi,

We use Spybot in quite a few automated systems here. We would like to know if it is possible to setup a local mirror for updates (and force spybot installs to use it) .. we would also be willing to provide an additional public mirror. Connection is somewhere in the 2 Gbps range.

We've been using the ones provided, but firstly I feel a bit bad sucking so much off them daily (auto updates, etc), and secondly, we would be happy to support this product, as it has saved me its weight in gold so far as time to fix problems.

Please let me know - Thanks!
    Dale.

It sounds like what you may need is "Intranet Server for Spybot - Search & Destroy":

For the specific needs of corporate LANs/WANs we designed a tool called "Intranet Server for Spybot - Search & Destroy" which will help you to:
    • get updates automatically from our server
    • store these updates on your servers for easy access for your clients
    • reduce traffic on your internet connection
    • keep a centralized standard configuration for your needs
    • send a report of the client scan to the admin
    • schedule scans at the client machines
The contact for the product is licenses@spybot.info.

Getting an answer is one thing, learning is another.
