Default Getting rid of a virus (Trojan)

I keep getting a message that says "Wind.exe has encountered a problem and need to be closed. for more info about this error, click here. I do not click here.
I went to Search and destroy and found a virus that may be causing me to keep getting this message. Microsoft.WindowsSecurityCenter_Disabled. I fix it by Spybot and each time I screen for viruses, it comes up. How can I place a quarrantine on the virus?

    Hello GeneG.

Your second post was only a couple of hours after the topic was started, please be patient.

Did Windows give you that message, and have you ran an anti-virus scan?

It would help to see the path of the Spybot-S&D detection, so please do the following:

    • Open SpyBot.
    • Check for problems.
    • When finished, right click and choose copy results (not the full report) to clipboard and post that into topic.

    Regards.

As a rule, you will find that the solutions offered on this forum will not work............they ask for all the data and never post any solutions after people submit to them..........bummer!

    WesternAmerican.

I fail to see what your response has to do with member GeneG's topic.

Information requested was given, member chose not to start a topic in our malware forum. Nothing to do with anyone else.

As to your own topic: http://forums.spybot.info/showthread...169#post116169

You have received an answer to every question, is there anything else? If so please respond in your own thread.
