    Default 64.50.236.214 ?

I was checking my firewall log on my server this morning and saw that spybotSD.exe wants to access 64.50.236.214 (mirror2.mirrors.tds.net). Before I add this to the approved list, I want to make sure that this is a valid internet site for spybot to be accessing.

    Thanks for your help.

The update process starts by downloading the spybotsd.ini file from one of these two sites:

The spybotsd.ini file contains a list of the update servers and the available updates. The list of update servers is dynamic and changes frequently. The spybotsd.ini file that contains the list of update servers is copied to the following file during the update process:
    • C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Updates\online.ini

If your firewall requires that you specify a site or IP Address rather than authorizing SpybotSD.exe to access the internet, than I suggest that you periodically check that file to see if there are any changes to the update servers (listed under "[-Mirrors]" in the online.ini file).

    The update servers are currently:

    Code:
    [-Mirrors]
    BN FileForum (Global)=http://betanewsdl.iad.cachefly.net/spybot/updates/files/

Thank you very much. That's the exact information that I need.
