Can someone please tell me how to check that my update is up to date?
Is something missing?
I have the 2006-01-13 update.
TIA

Yes, assuming that you haven't downloaded the beta.sbi (beta testing for additional detections), you are up to date.
The number that appears in the scan, yyyy in xxxx/yyyy does not correspond to the number of fingerprints, rules or products, those are different counters.
The yyyy corresponds to the sum of the checks for the selected file sets, which you can see in advanced mode, settings, file sets. Total not including Tracks and beta.sbi is 34177; total tracks is 2599, beta.sbi is 344.
You can also check the date stamps of the *.sbi and *.uti files in C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Includes. After the latest update these are all 01-13-2006, except for tracks.uti which is 02-07-2005.

Thanks for a clear answer to my post!
Why not inform of the number shown during scanning(34177 or 36776) instead of/in addition to the number given in the announcement of new detections that mean nothing to ordinary users?
Would give more sense to us that are more or less paranoid and like to check out that everything is functioning well.
Thanks.
