I am also suffering from very slow response since upgrading from 1.4 to 1.5.

In response to requests for additional information, I removed all my add-ins and performance returned to normal.

I found that CookieSafe 2.0.6 was the issue. When enabled response is very slow, even when switching from tab to tab. Disabled, everything is good.
