    Question Spybot blocking internet connection

Im not sure where to find a log of what i clicked on Allow Change for last that cause spybot to block IE from connecting to the internet. I get "The page cannot be displayed" every time i try to open a browser. If i go thru my control panel and choose Windows Update however, I can just use this window to access the internet. HELP PLS!

TeaTimer records a log of activties in the Resident.log file.

There are several ways to access the Resident.log file:
    1. Right click on the TeaTimer (Spybot-SD Resident) system tray icon and select Show Log.
    2. Go into Spybot > Mode > Advanced Mode > Tools > Resident.
    3. Go into Spybot > Mode > Advanced mode > Tools > View Reports > View Previous reports. Select the Resident log file and open it.
    4. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the Resident.log file located in one of the following directories:
      • Windows 95 or 98:
        C:\Windows\Application Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Logs
      • Windows ME:
        C:\Windows\All Users\Application Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Logs
      • Windows NT, 2000 or XP:
        C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Logs
      • Windows Vista:
        C:\ProgramData\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Logs

Getting an answer is one thing, learning is another.

Hm, i went into the Logs folder but couldn't find a report that showed what I had allowed last. I am positive it happened on September 8th 2007, because before the allowed value happened i could connect like I normally do using IE6, after that happened i kept getting the pg cannot be displayed.. pls see my screenshot of my log folder... maybe im not seeing the file i should be checking for that info... i opened almost all of em and none had a reference to a change made on 9/8/07:

In the screen shot you attached it appears that you selected but did not open the Resident.log file. The file displayed in the background looks like one of your Checks.yymmdd-hhmm.log files.

Sorry, I should have clarified on that screenshot.... i was trying to show the files available in that Logs folder. Below are links for the only 2 files in that Logs folder that have Resident in the file name... i was hoping when u first told me how to get here that the Resident.log file would show me what i needed but it doesnt show the actions for the date i need...

    screenshot of Resident.log: http://img256.imageshack.us/img256/3...dentloghd8.jpg

    screenshot of Resident.070910-1713.log:

What should I do if i can't find the log that shows me what happened on that day?

I've tried unchecking SD Helper and Tea Timer and checking to see if the browser will connect after making that change, but its still showing up as pg cant be disp....

I also tried unselecting some of the options under Immunization... but that hasnt helped either.. gah. pls help!

BTW... here is a screenshot of the browser that works fine side by side with the one that doesnt work...
