Entries not being fixed
When I run Spybot (v1.4) on my XP machine I see 40+ entries. I select "Fix Selected Problems" and it seems to work. If I immediately rerun the scan, the same 40+ entries are there.
This doesn't happen on my laptop (Win2K) next to this machine. Just a default installation. Any suggestions?
If you could specify what "... the same 40+ entries ..." are it would be helpful.
Run a scan and fix. Then run another scan. When the second scan completes, right click on the results list, select "Copy results to clipboard" then paste those results to a new post.
Getting an answer is one thing, learning is another.

Those are tracking cookies,found on firefox.
I put a tracking cookie on firefox and scanned twice just now,and it was removed.
However,quite awhile ago,I did have the same problem you were having,my firefox tracking cookies weren't being removed with Spybot.I'm not sure why.(I'm pretty sure it was with spybot 1.4,if I'm remembering correctly.)
You can view and/or remove cookies you don't want in firefox(version 1.5) by going to tools,Options...,then privacy,click the cookies tab,then view cookies,highlight the cookie you don't want,then click remove cookie.
