    Unhappy Anyone?

    Good evening readers.
I am aware this is the wrong forum but I have just recently downloaded SB S&D and I have a few questions.

    I use Pc-Cillin Internet Secruitiy 2007.
Lately my dear laptop has been running slowly, freezing and has ordered me to shut it down once.

I take good care of it, I don't abuse it, I don't use it 24/7 and I regulary have it scanned and I clean the laptop out once a week.

Has PC IS have a reputation of letting people down? What should I do?
Are there any other programs that can make it quick again and safe?

Thank you for your assistance in advance.

    Hello.

A few more details might be helpful to people reading your topic.

For instance, age of the laptop, RAM, Operating System, how many programs at startup etc.

Also when did the problem start, is there any particular time/activity that the laptop shuts down?

    Best regards.

    Hello,

Did you tried to turn off Spybot's immunization?
In the past there were problems reported with false positives from Trend Micro and Spybot's immunization.

One of Trendmicro's processes, PcScnSrv.exe, conflicts with our immunize feature - and Trend Micro wants to turn the immunization off.

That's the way to deactivate the immunization of Spybot-S&D:
Run Spybot-S&D, switch to the "Advanced mode" via the menu bar item "Mode" --> hit "YES" --> select "Tools" in the navigation bar on the left --> "Resident" and there you can untick the checkboxes in front of "Resident SDHelper".

Please have a look at this Trend Micro support solution: http://esupport.trendmicro.com/suppo...tID=EN-1033903

This item has also been discussed in our forum:
