Question Prior to ->Trojans Kaspersky found from: http://trufelsite.com, Post #2

Do I need to post a HiJack This log to remove these frapping trojans (now neutralized) that Kaspersky found in Protection.

BE CAREFUL PLEASE! DO ->NOT<- visit this site

I don't have a clue where I picked these up as I have never visited there.

The last thing I want to is infect another member of these forums.

Here are the one's Kaspersky found that are now neutralized.

I'm hoping someone has a removal tool from one of the many anti-spyware/virus creators so I have a way without getting into the registry.
    Google found spit.
    Neither did SpyBot, sorry.

I did a search on this forum for trufelsite with no results.

Normally I use the Great help on virtualdr.com, but the HiJack This expert is on leave.

    Hello.

Please see the stickied procedure for this forum: "BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance)

Please do not link to infections. The urls etc contained in the logs suffice.

Copy/paste the HJT log and result of the on-line anti virus scan into a new topic, then I will close this one as helpers look for zero response.

    Best regards.

    Terribly sorry, in all honesty.

A moderator (fink) at virtualdr.com claims:

    That website has been suspended.
Therefore I knew there was some danger, but not crucial evidence of infecting other members here.

All I wanted to know was IF I needed to post a HiJack This log.

Now I do, so please forgive the foul-up.

I'm not computer help site shopping like ol Rush Limberger was on Doctors for recreational meds.

Another (felonious) --> With no punishment for celebrity addicts, Surprise! (hope Brittany doesn't spot this)

I'll post one if that's OK, OK?

    I apologize to this Community.

    Hi there and no problem.

Follow the instructions here: "BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure before Requesting Assistance)
Then post the HJT log and results of the on-line anti virus scan into a new topic, as helpers look for threads with zero response.

    Cheers.

Question Prior to ->Trojans Kaspersky found from: http://trufelsite.com, Post #2

    Tashi, hi.

I am trying to follow your instructions to the letter this time.

I found those (supposed) trojans using Kaspersky Internet Security. The latest version: 7.0.0.125 d

When I start the Kaspersky online scan it states in red letters:

Warning: if you have installed Kaspersky Online Scanner Pro, please manually uninstall it using "Add/Remove Programs" before installing this version! Otherwise this version will not function correctly.

It took me months to get this set up correctly.
Not trying to be crabby or argumentative: but do I have to uninstall what I have & let it run the frapping learning curve again, please?

This is Great software, but it takes some time to get Proactive defense, spam control, etc through what they refer to as a Learning Curve with 100's of Rules.

This would be before I post the HiJack log (which should be a piece of cake, it's already installed), of course.

Aren't my Kaspersky logfiles what I posted previously?

(I'll shut up now & follow instructions)

    Hi groucho.

Just start a new topic with the HJT log only, that is fine.

Once you do I will add a link back to this thread.

    Cheers.
