I have just tried to install Spybot on a new computer but when I want to start the program the following message appears: Unable to contact spyware scanner. What is wrong??

Are you sure that you have downloaded our software Spybot - Search & Destroy? It does not sound like our software.

Sandra is right, we have no error message that sounds like that.

There are a lot of pseudo-products out there though that are trying to use our name, or something that very much sounds like our name, to fool users into believing they would download our product.
