    Default Host file

    Hi when i scan with Trend online, i keep getting these showing up, I deleted host file, then used Hostxpert to create another host scanned was ok, then immunised with SD and finds these? should i just ignore it thanks OJ

    It looks like Trend Micro finds and flags entries that redirect to the local host, thus Trend Micro finds blocked hosts but does not display which hosts are blocked.

    By default the Spybot S&D 1.5 Immunization makes such entries into the hosts file to block bad hosts.

    With the high count of 'infections' Trend Micro shows (here 98), it appears to be a false detection by Trend Micro. It would be interesting to see which blocked sites are being found but Trend Micro Housecall fails to deliver this info.

    For now you can ignore this detection by Trend Micro.

    hi again i tried installing the version TM too, found 111 threats lol , here is a screeny

    its under the spyware module as host file modification
