    Default Statcounter cookie

During a Spybot scan with updated definitions as of 31/10/2007 it is picking up a Statcounter cookie as a threat. This cookie is used by Statcounter to block your computer from your own websites, so your hits are not logged on the Statcounter system. I believe that this cookie posses no security or tracking risk and therefore a FP. Comments would be appreciated.

Statcounter deploys tracking cookies. They store the users ip address and can uniquely identify users.
While Statcounter itself states that the time to live of the cookies could be adjusted by webmasters from 30min to one week, they fail to mention that actual TTLs (time to live) are also set to a couple of years.

'Gültig bis' states the date until the cookie lives.

However if you do not want to remove the statcounter cookies, you can set them to be ignored in Spybot S&D's advanced options.
