Your HJT log looks clean of malware I do encourage you to update your Java and keep it updated, Hackers are exploiting that program, see this:

C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\
TIF files are infected, delete the contents of the folder in red.
I am not sure what this is, unless you are positive it is safe, I would delete at leasst the files in red

C:\Documents and Settings\LTA\Desktop\SmitfraudFix\
Delete Smitfraudfix from your computer, program does not update and must be downloaded new if needed again.
Once that is complete restart your computer and empty your Recycle Bin
You have infected System Restore files, System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...s/mcgill1.mspx
If you completed the instruction you next scan will be clean.
Let's discuss the computer performance.
I would keep Windows Defender
IS3 <<< never used it, once the trial is over I suggest you uninstall it.
AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5 <<< once the trial is over, updates are available free and you can keep it as an on demand scanner but it uses a load of resources and should NOT be running. Either turn it totally off or uninstall it.
Lavasoft\Ad-Aware 2007 <<< not sure how to advise you, I use the version before which only runs on demand, uses a little drive space and no resources if I don't run it. In the past I always suggested it as well as Spybot, but I wonder if both are needed. You might try turning it off to see if that significately effects performance, if it does perhaps uninstall it.
Some good information for you:

Let me know if there is more I can do, or if you have questions the experts below do not answer. Make sure you remove the programs we downloaded for the cleanup, you may keep ATF-Cleaner if you wish, it's a small program that uses no resources.
Here is some great information from experts in this field that will help you stay clean and safe online.
