    Default coolwwwsearch.feat2dll "bug"

Person states while scanning with Spybot,

I run AVG, ad-aware and spybot as my main programs and as of recently spybot has begun to restart my computer everytime it gets to coolwwwsearch.feat2dll. I have run all trojan and spyware programs I can find among a couple of coolwwwsearch removal tools and nothing is found.
    Any help would be appreciated!

MrCharlie: Cherryman has also posted in the Malware forum here. I've been watching since I'm tracking and collecting data for Yodama and others who help here.

The symptom of restarts at coolwwwsearch.feat2dll itself is very new, though slow scanning, hangs, or freezing have been reported with CoolWWWSearch varients over the last couple months. Some have been malware related and some haven't, but we're still investigating others.

Though I know users simply want an immediate solution, the complexities of a mix of possible malware, many new detections and possible other interaction isn't making this easy. I'm going to post a side question in Cherryman's Malware thread to determine what else might be happening here, so please recommend he keep close to these forums.

    Thanks for the heads-up!

I have asked Cherryman to decide which forum will be assisting him in order to avoid further dilution of volunteer resources and cross posting of advice.
As per our malware forum sticky.
