I took the advice given from the link and defraged my computer. I also installed a new firewall (Comodo) and uninstalled ZoneAlarm.
However, the computer still slows down after 10 minutes of activity. I thought that I was having these problems because of a video game I play since I noticed that my fps drops to about 05-10. However, even if I don't run that video game, my computer still slows down for some reason.
I noticed that wuauclt.exe has reappeared as a startup item. I was told that this file is unnecessary for XP. I wanted to ask you if I should delete this file in safe mode.
Anyways, here is the Hijack log:

You still have this item running from your services:
O23 - Service: Network Connection Manager (NetCM) - Unknown owner - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Speech\svchost.exe (file missing)
Follow these instructions:
Disable the Service
Click Start > Run and type services.msc
Scroll down to Network Connection Manager and right click on it.
Click Properties and under Service Status click Stop, then under Startup Type change it to Disabled.
Now navigate to this file in red and delete it.
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Speech\svchost.exe <<< delete that file
restart the computer and post a new HJT log.

I disabled Network Connection Manager as you said. I tried looking for svchost.exe again under that directory, but I could not find it.
Once again, all that was in that folder was an empty folder named 1033. Also, there was nothing in the 1033 folder either. For some strange reason, the computer would not let me delete the 1033 folder.
I remember you told me to delete the speech folder a while back, which I did a week or so ago. It seems strange that the folder recreated itself in the same directory.
I am not sure what more I can do for you at this point, I'll post this information in case it helps.
Some good information for you:
