    Default Spybot

My spybot runs in my start up menu and is visible on the taskbar, does this need to be in the startup to provide protections. I have downloaded tea timer with it also.

SpybotSD.exe (Spybot) does not have to run continually. On the other hand TeaTimer.exe has to run continually if you want protection for registry changes and the starting of malicious processes.

Getting an answer is one thing, learning is another.
