http 400
Hello,
i try to login on my router netopia with http://192.168.1.1 and i receive an error "http 400 web page not found".
I try to found why but i found nothing. I have update S&D 2 days ago (1.5.1.18 beta2), is it possible that S&D is the cause ?

i try https it is the same message.
with http : i receive the pop up for the logon i enter the logon and the password and then i receive 2 screen left and right (because frame i suppose) with the message http 400.
with telnet i reach the router but i have not the menu

I don't think that anything in Spybot's HOSTS file would cause the problem.
I don't have a router but I have a Westell 6100 modem on a Verizon DSL network. If I access http://192.168.1.1, I get a "ProLine DSL Modem" Web page with various options including links to access various verizon.net services. I can only conclude that I am accessing the modem without problems using the 192.168.1.1 IP address.

i have 4 pc upon my router and i can acces my router only with one pc. This pc does not have S&D
I will try upon another pc without S&D but when i uninstall S&D the hosts file is always here.
I reset my hosts file c/windows/system32/etc/hosts manually but i see still all the adress from S&D in secutity in IE
How can i suppress those adress in IE ,

The "Restricted sites" entries that you are seeing in IE's "Security" tab are not added by the HOSTS file. They are added by the domain entries during immunization.
I suggest that you reinstall Spybot. Then to completely uninstall Spybot-S&D including any system registry entries or files that may have been altered while using various features of Spybot:____________
- Go into Spybot > Immunize
- Click "Undo" button (at the top)
- Go into Spybot > Mode > Advanced Mode > Tools > Resident
- Uncheck (if checked) the following:
- Resident "SDHelper" (Internet Explorer bad download blocker) active.
- Resident "TeaTimer" (Protection of over-all system settings) active.
- Go into Spybot > Mode > Advanced Mode > Tools > IE Tweaks.
- Uncheck (if checked) any of the following "Miscellaneous locks":
- Lock Hosts file read-only as protection against hijackers
- Lock IE start page setting against user changes (current user)
- Lock IE control panel against opening from within IE (current user)
- Exit Spybot-S&D
- Make sure that TeaTimer is not running by checking for the TeaTimer System Tray Icon. If the icon is there:
- Right click Spybot's TeaTimer System Tray Icon > click Exit Spybot-S&D Resident. TeaTimer should close.
- Go to Windows > Control panel > Add or Remove Programs > Locate "Spybot – Search & Destroy 1.5" > Remove.
- Using Windows explorer, verified that the following folder has been delete. If not, delete it:
Note: If you were running "SDHelper" you will have to exit all Internet Explorer sessions and may have to restart your system in order to delete the program folder.
- C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy
- If you want to make sure that all the registry entries that Spybot-S&D added during installation are removed, there is a .reg file available on the safer-networking.org WEB site that can do that (I recommend that you do this since some registry entries that were used in Soybot 1.4 are no longer used in Spybot 1.5). ok super but as you said a few days ago I believe that S & D is not to blame.
I still have a question it remains 77 .defaults (IPs) 77 benoit (IPs) 77 service local (IPs) and 77 service network (IPs) those are not flagged therefore the undo take them not
can i flag those line and undo them ?

Yes. Checking those entries and then doing an "Undo" should remove registry entries for that type of immunization (change them from Protected to Unprotected).
The … (IPs) entries are immunization against malicious ActiveX processes (Microsoft Internet Explorer reusable object oriented software components).
