    Default Search page redirect

I see that you have helped people with this issue before. I get redirected to random sites when I click on link results from searches on google. AVG found adload.ma and SpyBot found Zlock.uc. Both allowed me to remove but came back on subsequent scans (even while booted in safe mode). I have read the terms of this forum and the readme stickies. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Below are logs from HJT and Kaspersky.

Welcome to Safer Networking, I wish to be sure you have viewed and understand this information.
"BEFORE you POST" (READ this Procedure before Requesting Assistance)
    http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

Thanks for posting the correct information, you would be surprised at how rare that is. This is a new one on me so I want to look a bit to learn.

    1) Please download F-Secure Blacklight:
    ftp://ftp.f-secure.com/anti-virus/tools/fsbl.exe
and save to your C:\ drive.
Open a command window by going to Start > Run and typing: cmd
Copy/paste or type the following in the command window: C:\fsbl.exe /expert
Hit "Enter" to start the program and then close the cmd box.
Accept the user agreement and click "Next".
    Click "Scan".
After the scan is complete, click "Next", then "Exit".
BlackLight will create a log in C:\ drive named "fsbl-xxxxxxx.log" (the xxxxxxx will be the date and time of the scan).
The log will have a list of all items found. Do not choose to rename any yet!
I want to see the log first because legitimate items can also be present...like "wbemtest.exe" and "tcptest.exe.
Exit Blacklight and post the contents of the log in your next reply.

    2) http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.php <<< download Smitfraudfix from here and follow ONLY these directions.

    Search:
    Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe
Select 1 and hit Enter to create a report of the infected files. The report can be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

Note: process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool". It is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.

    3) How to make files and folders visible:
Click Start > Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.
You may reverse this for safety when we are finished.

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
    http://www.atribune.org/content/view/25/2/
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

    4) Start > Control Panel > Add Remove programs and uninstall C:\Program Files\wnavsvct\ if there.

    5) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {35343728-1dd2-11b2-8bae-ba6b813d6a56} - C:\WINDOWS\gxwnmfaf.dll

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [fknsxgbs] regsvr32 /u "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\fknsxgbs.dll"

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

    6) RIGHT Click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:

    C:\Program Files\wnavsvct\ <<< delete that folder

    (delete the files in red)

    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\gzcpursl.dll
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ydurmrin.dll
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\rcjyhglg.dll
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\knazetwt.dll
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\fknsxgbs.dll

    7) Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
    Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Restart and post the log from Blacklight, the C:\rapport.txt from Smitfraudfix, a new HJT log and any comments you think will help.

    Thanks

Thanks for returning your information and the feedback. Blacklight did not find any problems, please delete that program from your computer.

Smitfraudfix however, found a corrupt hosts file:
    »»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»» hosts
    hosts file corrupted !

    http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.php <<< tutorial if needed

    Clean:
Reboot your computer in Safe Mode (before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually)
    Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe
Select 2 and hit Enter to delete infect files.
You will be prompted: Do you want to clean the registry ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter in order to remove the Desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection.
The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found): Replace infected file ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter to restore a clean file.
A reboot may be needed to finish the cleaning process. The report can be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

    Optional:
To restore Trusted and Restricted site zone, select 3 and hit Enter.
You will be prompted: Restore Trusted Zone ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter to delete trusted zone.
Note, if you use SpywareBlaster and/or IE-SPYAD, it will be necessary to re-install the protection both afford. For SpywareBlaster, run the program and re-protect all items. For IE-SPYAD, run the batch file and reinstall the protection.

The next C:\rapport.txt will have a hugh hosts file and I do not need to see it. Edit the Hosts file (all items with 127.0.0.1) out of the report before you post it.

Post the C:\rapport.txt and a new HJT log.

Let me know of any malware issues at this point.

    Thanks

Thanks for returning your information and the feedback. Your HJT log appears clean of malware
Since Kaspersky has not found any malware, no reason to run it again. Why don't you update Live Care and run a system scan. If all comes back clean, I would say you are good to go.
