I'm currently scanning with VundoFix, as I found a thread about it. What other problems do I seem to have and/or how can I remove Smitfraud? Thank you!

I am completely in love with your product, as it has saved us many many times!

    Exclamation New Problem

We seem to have a new problem.

When scanning in Safe Mode on the Administator account (different from our only other account, named Mom & Dad) with Spybot, we found a whole bunch of other viruses, including Virtumonde, Cool_Toolbar (or some variation of that), Smitfruad, Vundo, some Microsoft.Anti.Security (and some variations of that). We clicked fix all problems, and subsequently, all problems were fixed. We immunized and updated. We also scanned with Ad-Aware 2007, and that found a few problems, although nothing major. These are the two anti-virus programs we have.

However, when we go back into Safe Mode on the Mom & Dad account, the viruses are still there. So now my problem is how to get rid of all this garbage, short of clearing the whole computer of our files and completely starting anew, including reinstalling all drivers and programs. This is what we had to do last time we got a horrible virus. Also, we are unable to get to control panel now, and not even through the system32 folder, to find the file.

We desperately need to get back to the control panel file. So somebody, please find a solution, and quickly.
