    Default What is BM1f99ca21???

Spybot seems to be working very well, but everyday I logon the file BM1f99ca21 causes spybot to go into a loop because I clicked the "remember" box when i denied a registry change.

I have to search for the file in Windows explorer and delete manually.

The file BM1f99ca21 is just a notepad file.

And each time it is deleted it keeps coming back.

What version of Spybot - Search & Destroy are you running (Spybot > Help > About)?

When you get TeaTimer's registry change dialog, what does the dialog indicate?

I'll have a look when i get home.

Thanks for the quick response. I've also spotted how to deselect the "remember change" in settings, so if BM1etc... is relatively harmless, I know I can stop the looping.

    Version 5.1.2.20

And I don't know what the teatimer is. is it the think that pops up to say something is infected? Or is that the resident.

I've read the help files that are full of references to teatimer but there is nothing to click on.
